Account deletion

This page explains how to delete your Mektebi account and what happens to your data afterwards.
1. Permanent account deletion
You can permanently delete your Mektebi account. Deletion removes your personal data and access, and it cannot be undone.
2. How to delete your account
In the mobile app, open Profile, choose “Delete account”, confirm with your password, and confirm the request. The account is deleted immediately and you are signed out automatically.
3. What is deleted
Your personal data and access are removed: full name, email address, phone, the ability to sign in, and device tokens for notifications. After deletion you can no longer sign in with that account.
4. What is retained and why
Attendance and tuition records are retained by the school in anonymized form, without personal identifiers, for the school's bookkeeping and record accuracy. These records no longer identify you.
5. Timeframe
Removal of personal data and disabling of access happen immediately upon confirming the request.
